What it is
When the owner of a business asks Hana to set up their store from their website, Hana's reader reads that website once, as a visitor would, and the owner checks what it found before anything is made. It reads only when an owner asks, and only the address they give.
How it names itself
It sends the user agent HanaStoreImport/1.0 (+https://hana.one/store-import-reader). In robots.txt it answers to HanaStoreImport.
What it fetches
The page it is given and at most 7 more pages of the same site, chosen from that page’s links (the schedule, the prices, the policies, the place), 8 at most in all and 4 at a time. HTML only, at most 1.5 MB and 10 seconds a page, over https on the default port.
robots.txt
It reads robots.txt once a site and obeys it: a group for HanaStoreImport first, else the group for every reader. A page it disallows is never asked for. To keep it out of your whole site, give HanaStoreImport a group with Disallow: /.
What it never does
It never signs in, posts a form, keeps a cookie or runs a script. It never reads a booking system, a page of another site or an address that is not public.
